Rogers, Bell & TELUS all launching BlackBerry Bold 9700

20091020-rim1021photo1px800Rogers, Bell and TELUS have all announced today the BlackBerry Bold 9700 will soon. Rogers specifically said it will be available “in the coming weeks”, while over at Bell they stated it will be available “when Bell Mobility launches its all-new HSPA high-speed wireless network in November”. Rogers did release their 3-year contract price plan to be $299.99 with a $45 monthly Voice and Data package. TELUS said they will have it available in November also.

The Bold 9700 has RIM’s new trackpad (no more trackball) with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.44 inch (resolution of 480 x 360). Loaded with a 624 MHz processor, 256 MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, 3.2MP camera with video capabilities, variable zoom, autofocus and flash. Overall dimensions of the 9700 are 09 mm x 60 mm x 14.1 mm and weighs only 122 grams. This can hold up to 32GB with a microSD card. And finally the Bold 9700 comes with a 1500 mAhr battery and a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack.

Both Rogers and Bell are giving a 2GB microSD when purchased. As noted last week, Bell is preloading their with NHL content.
