TELUS’ LTE network now live… here’s the coverage!

TELUS has lit up a multitude of locations in Canada with their new LTE (Long Term Evolution) network. This will give customers potential peak download speeds of up to 75 Mbps, but realistically it’s between 12 to 25 Mbps. Here’s the current list: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Guelph, Belleville, Ottawa, Montreal, Québec City, Halifax and Yellowknife. The complete coverage map for all the current areas is below, plus you’ll also see a few maps with little green dots, these are places that TELUS is targeting as “Future” and part of their plan to have their LTE network reach 25 million Canadians by the end of 2012.

In addition, you can now also grab hold of their first round of LTE-enabled devices: LG Optimus LTE, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, Ovation MC679 4G LTE Internet Key, and the Samsung Galaxy Note will be released on February 14th.
