Many Canadian carriers have the BlackBerry Bold 9900 – it’s currently RIM’s best smartphone until the BlackBerry 10 devices launch later this year. The upgrade to OS 7.1 has been pushed out to owners over the past couple months, this brings the ability to turn the 9900 into Wi-Fi hotspot. Bell, Virgin, SaskTel, WIND, TELUS and MTS have all made their customers happy. It’s just Rogers, Mobilicity and Videotron that are the stragglers.
Well, today Mobilicity Bold 9900 customers will be joyous as OS version 126.96.36.1997 is now available to download. As always, make sure you back up your device before download – but you can grab it here from BlackBerry.
