Rogers to exclusively launch the Nokia Lumia 920 “in November”

The Nokia Lumia 920 is exclusively coming to Rogers sometime “in November.” This could be the first Windows Phone 8 device to hit Canadian land and will be another LTE-enabled smartphone. There’s no word yet on pricing, nor colours, but the press image showed it to be coming in black, but this also comes in cyan, yellow, red, and white.

The Lumia 920, according to Nokia, is their “most innovative Lumia” and the one-piece polycarbonate design resembles the 900 from last year. Specs of the 920 have it coming with a 8.7MP PureView camera that shoots 1080p HD videos, 4.5-inch display (1280×728), 1GB RAM, 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC, 2000 mAh battery and wireless charging features. The Lumia 920 will also come with Nokia’s new “City Lens” augmented reality experience, plus Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transit.

We’ll bring you more details on this release closer to launch. Check out our hands-on of the Lumia 920 here.

Update: We’ve heard back from Nokia about the colour(s) of the Lumia 920 coming to Canada. Nokia stated in an email to us that “Rogers will be carrying the black Lumia 920 only.” No word on when/if the other shades will arrive.
