Rogers expands 2600Mhz LTE Max network in BC, Quebec and the Maritimes

Rogers has once again expanded the reach of its 2600Mhz (Band 7) network, newly rebranded as LTE Max, in parts of Canada. Specifically, Victoriaville and La Baie in Quebec; Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Parksville, BC.

LTE Max theoretically supports speeds of 100Mbps on supported devices, as Rogers owns 20Mhz of spectrum in most regions, and will be upgradeable to 150Mbps speeds when the next generation of LTE standard, dubbed LTE-Advanced, is implemented in Canada.

Rogers currently offers three devices that support the 2600Mhz band: Samsung Galaxy S4, LG Optimus G and BlackBerry Q10.
