Apple to live stream iPhone 6 event on September 9th

Apple is following its trend from previous years and decided to live stream its upcoming “Wish we could say more” event. This is happening on September 9th and is scheduled to start at 10:00am PDT (1:00pm EST). For those interested in watching the time pass, Apple has put a countdown timer on its site.

Apple notes that “Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.”

Heavily rumoured to make an appearance will be the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6. In addition, possibly entering a new category for the Cupertino-based company is a foray into the wearable space with a smartwatch, possibly called the “iWatch.”
