Sony SmartWatch 3 now available at select Bell stores

Bell is now selling the Sony SmartWatch 3 at select retail stores for $279.95. The Android Wear-based smartwatch debuted on Google Play last week and will come to Sony’s retail and online stores later this month.

Sony’s third smartwatch is waterproof, and sports a 1.6-inch 320×320 display with a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Unlike other Android Wear devices, it charges via microUSB, and is one of the only smartwatches on the market with GPS support, so it can track your run, along with Sony’s Lifelog app, without a smartphone connected.

The watch doesn’t seem to be on Bell’s site at the moment, so call your local Bell store if you’re interested in picking one up.
