Apple this week debuted four of a promised 10 guided video tours outlining the benefits of its upcoming Watch.
The core guided tour takes users through a four-minute general overview of the product, with the three subsequent videos delving deeper into Messages, Faces and Digital Touch.
Since its debut in September, Apple has fielded questions from critics and fans alike as to the watch’s purpose. While smartwatches have to date been largely focused on notifications and aesthetic customization, Apple promises an extensive app ecosystem and variable communication methods with its first wearable, which debuts on April 24th.
The company is doing everything it can to educate customers on why they would want to purchase the wearable. Beginning this Friday, April 10th, customers will be able to try the Apple Watch in select stores, pre-ordering their choices for in-store pickup two weeks later. With more choices than any product sold by the company, Apple is counting on its extensive selection to woo customers based on price, material, colour, and band type.
