Threes! is a better game than any 2048/4096 clone will ever be. It’s thoughtful, beautiful, and endlessly addictive. It’s a fine meal to the others’ Pop Rocks sugar high.
But because it has always been a paid title, despite a sticker price of just $3.49 CAD, it hasn’t quite taken off the way it should have. This changes now that Threes! has a free version on iOS and Android.
The puzzle game is now ad-supported, which isn’t as good an experience as the paid one, but will inevitably open up the world of Threes! to millions of future addicts.
