During a press conference last month, Acer promised to “double down” on launching new mobile devices and wearables in 2015. While much of the new tech is expected to be tablets and fitness bands, Acer will also launch the 5.5-inch Liquid X2, which is said to be a “workhorse.”
Ihe first fruit of its labour has officially launched in Canada. The entry-level Acer Liquid M220 is now available for sale through Microsoft’s online store. The price is set at $99 and the Liquid M220 comes unlocked.
As for specs, the Liquid M220 runs Windows Phone 8.1, has a 4-inch WVGA display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5MP camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, and a replaceable 1,300mAh battery.
