Bell works with Toronto’s CAMH to develop iPad app for psychiatrists and patients

Being that it is just under a week until Bell Let’s Talk Day, the telco is highlighting its partnership with the Toronto’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

The organization, which worked with Bell Business Markets, has released an app for psychiatrists and primary care doctors called Psychiatry in Primary Care Toolkit, which, for $3.99 CAD, provides resources and tools for caregivers to diagnose and run simulations for patients.

The application is not meant to be used in sessions with patients — for privacy reasons, notes entered in the app are automatically erased upon exiting — but for running scenarios, as a resource for psychiatrists looking to find recent diagnostic data in one place.

On January 27th, Bell and other carriers will donate five cents for every call, text, tweet with #BellLetsTalk or Facebook share with the Bell Let’s Talk Day image.
