Google’s monthly chart has been updated and Marshmallow is climbing.

5.X Lollipop, a previous version of Android, jumped to 35.4 percent from 34.1 percent in the past four weeks, while 4.4 KitKat, which was released in October of 2013, fell to the second most used version of Android at 31.6 percent of Android devices.

4.X Jelly Bean continues its decline, dropping four points to 18.9 percent, and Froyo, Gingerbread, and Ice Cream Sandwich collectively power just 4 percent of devices.

The next version of Android, which is Android 7.0, is still yet to be named. Google is asking the world to name Android N with a naming contest and is expected to officially bring the new version to users later this summer.
