SaskTel lets seniors experience VR for the first time [video]

At one point in time, your grandfather or grandmother were viewed as being hope for the future. This generation possibly saw new technology unfold, such as the typewriter, personal computer, and a portable stereo. Today, smartphones have more power in them than a 22kg computer did back in the day.

Saskatchewan-based regional carrier SaskTel has taken to YouTube to acknowledge how fast the future has arrived by interviewing seniors and putting them into various virtual reality experiences, specifically with the HTC Vive and Samsung’s Gear VR.

There are a number of hot takes, such as “look at all that dandruff,” “Ahh, I’m tired,” and “You’re the biggest fruit salad in the world.”
