After Android 7.0 Nougat began rolling out to HTC One M9s via Telus, Videotron and Freedom, Bell’s website now indicates that the update is available for download through its network. Meanwhile, Rogers’ website still indicates that the update is “coming soon.”
Nougat 7.0 brings with it features such as multi-window usage, Doze 2.0 for improved battery conservation and notification stacking based on the type of app. The update also comes along with a slew of security patches. HTC has previously noted that devices older than the HTC M9 and A9 will not receive the Nougat update.
Thanks for the tip, Josh!
