Quebec-based regional carrier Videotron is offering a maximum of two free talk-and-text plans to customers who meet certain conditions.
According to Videotron’s website, residential customers with at least two Premium Mobile plans who pay a minimum of $64.95 each — with at least one voice and text package — are eligible for a maximum of two free talk-and-text plans per account.
Additionally, all of the plans must be under the same account.
Subscribers can also add 1GB of data to these talk-and-text plans for an additional $8.
The Videotron website explains that subscribers will need to pay a $20 one-time activation fee, as well as $5 for a SIM card.
According to a Videotron service representative, the plan is for new activations and existing subscribers, and there is no age limit, though the plan is marketed as a teen-centric product.
The offer is available in-store and online.
